Russ came up through London’s music scene as a record-company A&R, working across some of the capital’s most respected dance labels while producing his own tracks along the way, including a slightly surreal tick-off-the-bucket-list moment on Top of the Pops.

A DJ to his core, he’s spent years behind the decks digging deep for records with soul and stories to tell. After a short hiatus, Russ is back where he belongs, hosting his ‘Beats and Pieces’ show on Kent Radio, that blends classic soul, funk, disco and R&B with fresh new sounds from the UK and overseas.
